History
There have been Deaf people surfing since back in the 1970s but it is only recently that they have set up a committee and had organised events and activities.
Deaf Board Ridders QLD originally had two groups, the Gold Coast group and the Sunshine Coast group and would alternate between the two locations.
Deaf Boardriders Queensland was re-estblished on 6th April 2008 at Turtle's (Steve Constantine) place at Nobby Beach.
It was suggested to re-open Deaf Boardriders Queensland and encourage more surfers to enter competitions and have some fun...
