Upcoming DSRQ events
This month is already busy for DSRQ staff. We are already planning for our Statewide Deaf athletics carnival "Deaf Sports Day" which will be held in conjunction with Deaf Youth Camp in July next year and our new State Deaf Swimming Carnival in March next year.
MINI REGIONAL TOUR: Next week Brad and Julie will be taking a young Deaf athlete to the State School Sport Championships held in Townsville this month. He has been selected in the Met West Relay Team. Congratulations Sekou!!
DEAF YOUTH GROUP: Rock climbing has been postponed to the 4th December as DSRQ staff will be away in Townsville.
Julie will visit schools and organisations in the Townsville area. If you want DSRQ to visit your organisation please contact dsrq@dsrq.org.au.
DEAF CLUB: is on the 22nd of October. It will be at Mt Gravatt Showground - Memorial Hall, 1644 Logan Road. It starts at 6.30pm and is a Gold Coin Entry. There will be Sausage Sizzle, Tea & Coffee and Drinks on Sale. For more information, please contact QAD or DSRQ.

DEAF TENNIS FUN TOURNAMENT: DSRQ and Deaf Tennis Australia have organised QLD first state tennis tournament for all ages and skill levels. Come along for a fantastic day. Tennis QLD Centre, 190 King Arthur Terrace, Tennyson
27th November, 8.30am - 5pm, cost: Adult - $10, Child/ Senior/ DSRQ member - $5.
