What activities we do?
- We play golf socially once a month on Sunday at various green courses;
- We encourage everyone to join with us for fun games of golf on the weekends;
- We can show you how to play golf and understanding of the rules within Golf;
- We would love more players to be part of our team;
- Deaf young players should be encouraged to join with us for future.

Pathways to where?
- Participate in Brisbane Golf competitions;
- Australian Deaf Games every 4 years;
- National Deaf Golf Championship every year;
- International Deaf Golf Championship every year.
Golf Clinic for Deaf Youth:
- We have organised a mini golf clinic for Deaf Youth Group;
- This project is part of QDGA and DSRQ's invitiative to encourage deaf youth to be involved in sport;
- We will organise another clinic sometimes next year. Please watch out the dates in 2010. Check out Junior Deaf Sports Development section for further information.
Deaf Talented Golfers in Queensland:
We have talented players in our Queensland team for the Australian Deaf Games.
Jennifer Maric
Jennifer Maric is one of the most talented players in Queensland and Australia. She has been representing for Queensland and Australia. She has competed with the professional players from all over the world at International Deaf Golf Championships.
She has won the Deaf Sportwoment of the Year awards twice in 2008 and 2009.
Mark Aird
Mark Aird is also one of the promising players in Queensland and Australia Deaf Golf Team. He has played for Queensland Deaf Golf Team for the Ausralian Deaf Games. He also went to Interntional Deaf Golf Championship in Canada?
He has won Sportsman of the Year at Deaf Sports & Recreaton Award in 2008.
Kevin Hayden
Kevin has been playing for more than 20 years! He still play golf as socially and professionally. He is a great teacher showing deaf young players learn to play golf. He has been involved in many Australian Deaf Games since he first joined with Deaf Golf Queensland Association when he was a young player.
