Welcome to Queensland Deaf Lawn Bowls page. We provide a range of social and competition bowls for our members.

For anyone who enjoys meeting and socialising and playing Lawn Bowls. Open to all ages!!

We compete in State and National competitions with other Deaf Lawn Bowlers including the Australian Deaf games which will be held in Geelong Victoria in 2012.

Disabled Coaching Course

2 Deaf Bowlers represented the Queensland Deaf Lawn Bowls for Disabled Coaching Course provided by Bowls Queensland at the Bowls Queensland Headquarters, Enoggera.
Congratulations to Gail Dellar & Barrie Knapton for their success and achievement on the coaching course.
The coaching course was well attended by the blind bowlers.

Any Deaf member wishing to learn to play bowls can approach Gail Dellar at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club or any bowls club when the QDLBA has a Social or Barefoot Bowls program.
