Netball Competitions:

- Deaf Netball Qld Association - players have been playing locally at Cannon Hill Netball Association grounds to keep fit and prepare for the National Deaf Netball Championship which are hosted every year
- Involvement in Deaf Netball Qld team provides a pathway for the Australian Deaf Games
- If you are not living in Brisbane, you can still be part of our team. We encourage you to continue playing with your local netball club but we are keen to provide support to your club to ensure full accessibility. For example support through our DSAT program. ( see DSAT on this website)
Fundraising functions:
- DNQ organised many fundraising events to help their players attend National Deaf Netball competitons such as National Deaf Netball Championship every year and Australian Deaf Games every four years.
- DNQ also organised fundraising events to help the Queenslanders players, who have been selected to play for the Australia Netball Team, to travel to international Netball competitions.
- Fundraising will help to cover the costs of uniforms, travel and accommodation.
- We encourage you to attend our social functions which support our organisation
National Deaf Netball Championship "Margo Allen Shield"
- The National Deaf Netball Championships is organised by Deaf Netball Australia and is hosted annually by different states
- Recently, The National Championhip was held in Victoria during the weekend of 4th and 5th October 2009.
