Deaf Surf's Up 2008
Recently, in August 2009 the Crescent Head Boardriders Inc, and DBNSW hosted the bi-annual surfing competition where surfers from all over Australia, including Deaf Boardriders Queensland competed in various events.
Our Queensland team had a lovely time surfing and enjoyed the competition.

The Ladies had fun, it was a great time! The weather was lovely and sunny and was a perfect day. We thought the seawater would be very cold but it wasn't! We had wet suits that help to keep you warm. They were very proud of themselves learning to surf!
