This is DSRQ's most active group. Age is no barrier for Brisbane Deaf Senior Citizens who meet twice a month to play card games and bingo and go on bus trips every three months. Anyone can join this group for a good time to meet old and new friends.

Melbourne Cup Day
43 Deafies came for Melbourne Cup lunch, pity we didn't have fancy clothes to wear for Melbourne Cup but one member did wear a lovely hat. We had a lovely morning tea and lovely lunch. We all enjoyed the moment there until racing came on the TV. We were all excited to see if our horse would win after buying into the Melbourne Cup sweep. Some of us had winners on the sweep, we were very happy to have prizes and be there on that day.
