43 Deafies came for Melbourne Cup lunch, pity we didn't have fancy clothes to wear for Melbourne Cup but one member did wear a lovely hat. We had a lovely morning tea and lovely lunch. We all enjoyed the moment there until racing came on the TV. We were all excited to see if our horse would win after buying into the Melbourne Cup sweep. Some of us had winners on the sweep, we were very happy to have prizes and be there on that day.

This will be my last report on B.D.S.C&A until next January 2010. We all wishing you Chistmas Greetings and a happy New Year for 2010. Take care in the holidays. We will open on the 12th of January 2010 with Euchre and 7777 cards at MaryMac Annerley.
